Descriptive Writing

1.How different is descriptive writing from a narrative writing?
          Descriptive may paint the sin of a story,the appearance or character of the people  involved,and the actions that these people did while the narrative is a type of discourse or composition which tells a story,recount events or outlines the stages of a process.

2.How does the maxim "show,dont tell" explain how one's writes descriptively.Illustrate with your own example.

3.How do you as a writer  make your  language descriptive?How do you add depth and texture to a piece of writing?
         For me,as a writer I  will make my language descriptively by using some details that support the impression  
and list words that evoke sensory experiences and indicate the  sense to which each word appeals.

4.Other than one word modifiers,what other modifiers maybe employed in descriptive writing?
           Other than one words modifiers,prepositions must employed to show spatial relationships and movement or direction.
